Welcome to the Salton Sea
The Salton Sea is a beautiful & majestic place to visit.
With magnificent views from the entire region to hiking, checking migrational birds from your list or just relaxing. A lap around the Sea allows you to visit quite a few very unique locations, from the wildlife refuges & Red Hill Marina to the Slab City experience. The North Shore allows for boat launching and kayak rentals. Truck Haven & Ocotillo Wells off-roading areas are just a short drive across the 86 from Salton City. We also host many historical sites to explore- from Native American ruins & fish trapping sites to old, pre-WWII military training sites.
